Whoever calls you sometimes shares sensitive things. Here’s how we handle that.
Your calls live in Amsterdam
The app and storage run in the Netherlands. For turning speech into text we use specialised services that partly run in the US, under European processing agreements — we’d rather just tell you.
Stored encrypted
Your messages are stored encrypted with AES-256. No team listens in and there’s no sampling; for technical maintenance there’s limited access, described in the privacy statement.
Kept as long as you need — you decide
How long messages are kept depends on your plan: 30 days on Free, longer on the paid plans. And you can erase any message — or your whole account — yourself at any time. Being forgotten is a right, not a favour.
No training on your data
Your calls are not used to train AI. No ads, no profiling, no selling of data.
Recording: you decide
Call recording can be switched on or off per company. On, and you can replay calls in the app; off, and only the transcript remains.
Why BeepSweep says he’s AI
BeepSweep introduces himself as AI at the start of every call. That’s honest to your callers — and in line with the European AI rules. We’d rather be open about it.

Where is my data stored?
In the Netherlands. The app and database run in Amsterdam, and your voicemails are stored encrypted with AES-256.
Who can read my messages?
No one by default. Your messages are encrypted. There's no team listening in and no quality sampling. For technical maintenance there is limited access, described in the privacy statement.
Are my calls used to train AI?
No. There's no training on your data. That's contractually fixed with the services we use.
Does my data go to the US?
Storage and hosting are in Amsterdam. For speech-to-text and the AI receptionist we use specialised services that partly run in the US, under European processing agreements (SCCs and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Details are in the privacy statement.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
No. No selling of data, no ads, no trackers and no profiling. That's a deliberate choice.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
